Will I have a dedicated cleaner, or will different cleaners show up to clean the yard?

Each client is assigned a dedicated cleaner. Cleaners are full-time employees who are all insured through Pet Care Insurance. We will never use contractors or day laborers.

How often are the cleaning services performed?

We perform our standard service once a week. At your request we can visit less frequently, however, the rate remains consistent.

Can I choose which day or time service is performed?

No. The service day and time are both selected internally which allows us to maintain affordable service fees by utilizing efficient routes for our scoop technicians.

Your scoop day will be the same day each week. If your service day ever changes, we will always communicate with you in advance. Our service routes run from 6 AM to 6 PM

Where is the waste taken?

The waste is left in the client's trash can.

How is the service price influenced by my yard size?

We maintain one simple price for the vast majority of our clients. If your situation is an outlier, we will discuss a fair adjustment.

Do I have to be home when service is performed?

No, you are not required to be home when we service your yard. We only ask for easy gate access.

Can my dogs stay in the yard while cleaning is performed?

Aggressive dogs must be kept inside during cleaning service. Our technicians can only work with friendly dogs in the yard.

What happens when it snows?

We avoid driving when we judge the road conditions to be unsafe. In the event of a postponement or cancellation of service, clients will be notified through email.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Scoop General has no contracts and clients can cancel services at any time for any reason through phone or email.

Is there an option to have my yard deodorized?

Yes, we offer yard deodorizer as an optional add-on service. The rate is $20 per treatment. This service is suspended during the months of December, January, and February.
